This 3D Benchy was printed at 700% normal scale in silver PLA using a 0.8mm nozzle. It weighs 4.5 pounds.
I designed and built this large format 3D printer to use for furniture projects and other extra-large printing. With the ability to print PETG and carbon-fiber nylon, this machine can make super durable parts for everyday use. It can also make two large parts simultaneously using both extruders, halving the print time when duplicate parts are needed.
I modeled and 3D printed a Tulip chair to demonstrated this machines ability to make large functional parts. This chair was printed in three parts, nearly 100 hours of printing and weighs about 8lbs.
