This was a personal project to create a genderbend Mercy cosplay.  The design was inspired by Mercy's cobalt skin, which I adapted to allow for more flexibility and comfort.  The torso is made from 3/16" kydex plating and conforms to my body, allowing the weight from the 7 pound wings to be comfortably distributed and worn all day.  I designed the wings with a pan/tilt mechanism, enabling them to pivot and fold away to make crowd navigation easier.  They also feature removable acrylic feather inserts, which extend the wingspan to a maximum of 7 feet.  The wings and caduceus staff were 3D printed out of nylon, then finished by hand before painting.
